5502 8oz Renards Farmers Cheese with Guacamole, A mild, creamy cheese loaded with the flavor of guacamole! It’s hard to believe this cheese is reduced fat! Melt over nachos, or use it in quesadillas or burritos. Enjoy with chardonnay, Moscato, or pinot noir. It would also go great with a pilsner, Saison, ale, or stout beer. Made in Wisconsin

Natural Farmers with Guacamole

Product Description: Farmer’s cheese with guacamole is a unique fusion of the traditional soft and tangy farmer’s cheese with guacamole’s creamy, fresh, and zesty flavors. The first note is mild and slightly tart due to the farmer’s cheese; this is quickly followed by the rich taste of avocado, then lime, followed by the warmth of jalapeno and a subtle freshness of cilantro.

Pairings and Complementary Flavors

Cocktails: Margarita, Mango Margarita, Mojito
~ A classic Margarita with its acidic, sweet properties and a hint of lime can cut through the creaminess of the cheese while complementing the guacamole flavors. A Mango Margarita can also be an excellent accompaniment. The sweetness from the mangoes offsets the hint of spice in the cheese to create a sweet-spicy pairing.
~ Mojito’s fresh mint and lime contrast the creamy, rich farmer’s cheese.

Wine: Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo, Riesling, Rosé
~ The crisp, light citrus notes in Sauvignon Blanc cut through the creaminess of the cheese and complement the lime and cilantro notes.
~ Verdejo is a Spanish white wine known for its fresh and slightly bitter notes that will supply a pleasant balance to the richness of the cheese.
~ A dry Riesling would be a good match with its crisp acidity, aromatic profile, and a touch of sweetness, while a dry Rosé can offer berry notes and a refreshing profile that works well with the rich, creamy, and slightly spicy cheese.

Beer: Pilsner, Pale Ale, Saison, Mexican Lager
~ A Pilsner’s crisp and light hoppy bitterness balances the creamy and rich cheese characteristics while its carbonation is refreshing.
~ The balance of malt sweetness and hoppy bitterness in a Pale Ale complements the tanginess of the farmer’s cheese and melds with the avocado’s creaminess.
~ The high carbonation, fruity, and slightly spicy flavor of a Saison pairs well with the cheese.
~ A crisp, clean Mexican lager with a light to medium body would be an excellent choice, as its simplicity will not compete with the complexity of the cheese.

Accompaniments: Crackers, bread, tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, fruit, salsa
~ The simple flavor of lightly salted crackers, a slice of fresh baguette, or tortilla chips will supply an excellent base for this creamy and flavorful cheese.
~ Fresh vegetables such as cucumbers, bell peppers, or cherry tomatoes all contrast the cheese’s creaminess, while apples, pears, or grapes will balance the cheese’s tanginess. Mango salsa can also be an excellent complement.
