I have ordered this product about 3 times now and really love the flavor and texture, plus it melts! Trying to watch my fat intake and this satisfies me.

I do not buy fat-free cheese because it does not taste like anything. I am a Weight Watchers member and this cheese not only taste amazing. It is only one point per ounce on Weight Watchers. I love it have purchased before and will continue purchasing.

Best fat free cheese ever!!!

Love this cheese! You can cut thin slices or shred it, use it in sauces or as toppings for pizza or casseroles. It melts great and tastes like mozzarella should. Much better than the shredded fat free cheeses you can buy at the supermarket!

Of the three LifeWise fat-free cheeses from Northwood, this mozzarella is hands-down the best! After years of eating store-bought pre-shredded FF mozzarella (you know the one), I had forgotten how delicious mozzarella really is. Because this cheese comes in a block, you don’t have to deal with that anti-caking agent found in pre-shredded varieties that can dry the cheese out and add a weird texture and flavor. Unlike many other fat-free cheeses - which, really only work in hot dishes - it slices well & has a texture indiscernible from higher-fat varieties: meaning, it tastes great cold on sandwiches, crackers, or by itself. Not that it doesn't sing when cooked or baked: it melts beautifully, making it perfect for pizza, burgers, and other hot dishes. Their fat-free Swiss is also impressive—versatile whether sliced, shredded, hot, or cold—but the mozzarella’s flavor truly stands out. (Their cheddar is delicious, but sadly, rather gummy in texture. Meaning, it’s ideal for macaroni & cheese and other sauces, but doesn’t translate well for sliced or freshly shredded cold applications.) My only gripe is that I wish I could purchase it locally, because the price of the actual cheese seems extremely reasonable for the portion, but the shipping fee keeps me from ordering as often as I would like. For that reason, I tend to make larger single orders, and keep what I won't be eating during the week in the freezer. Surprisingly, if you keep the cheese in the freezer and move it to the fridge the night before you need it, it retains it's nice flavor and texture for...well, I don't know - I haven't had a problem yet! As a vegetarian with UC, I'm really grateful to get to have more of the dishes I miss, without paying dearly for it! But, my family likes it too. This isn't "good for FF cheese," this is delicious mozzarella: meaning, I don't have to make two versions of every meal that uses cheese. Highly recommend! ??
